Ballroom & Line Line DANCING - What's It all about
This isn't 'yeeha' cowboy dancing, but it is Ballroom & Latin Line Dancing. Our routines are based upon 9 of the Ballroom & Latin dances (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive and Paso Doble). Popular universal party dances such as the Charleston Stroll are also taught.
- No partner is required! Ladies & gentlemen are welcome.
- It's a great opportunity to experience dances that are not taught in group classes until the higher levels too. For example, the Samba & Paso aren't taught in our Beginner Classes.
- Many people enjoy this extra opportunity to dance & the freedom it gives them not having to worry about their partner. These classes, like all our classes, are designed to be fun.

pace and dances covered
- Tuesday has a medium Pace. We cover 7/9 dances.
- Wednesday has an entry level pace. We cover 4/5 dances.
- Thursday has an entry level pace. We cover 4/5 dances.
- Friday has the fastest pace. We cover 10/12 dances.
Please Note: The Wednesday & Thursday class pace is good for those who have not danced before or have little experience, whilst Tuesday’s class is suitable for those with some dance experience.
Tuition
On Tuesdays we generally recap over each dance at least twice. Wednesday & Thursday's routines are generally recapped over 4 times minimum. On Fridays we rarely have to recap any of the dances which allows us all to dance the greatest number of routines.
Music Speed/Tempo
We sometimes play with the speed of music for cardiovascular benefits as well as fun! This occurs occasionally in the Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday classes but is most common on Fridays.
