Maybe you have always wanted to learn a Ballroom or Latin dance, but never had the time or opportunity in the past. Perhaps you want to learn for a specific event, such as a cruise for example. In this instance Steven will recommend the most common dances the band will play and will structure your lesson accordingly.
If you want to learn for your First Dance, Steven will want to know your vision and music choice. He will also discuss a number of topics such as the wedding dress and dance space practicalities so that your first dance runs as smoothly as possible.
If you have been dancing for some time, you may want Steven to focus on floorcraft, for example, or review your existing choreography repertoire and extend it with additional detail. Some leaders may wish to learn, or further improve, how they deliver more effective and superior leads through understanding how to amplify the signals to which a follower will respond. Followers may like to learn how to gain greater control and independence through correct or improved technique, allowing them to interpret and respond to leads with the appropriate energy and improved stability.
