These workshops are designed for those new to the Viennese Waltz or those who've briefly engaged with it in the past.
Knowing how many dancers get up for this dance at our events, we'd love to see more people get involved. Even if you've been dancing for a while, we think you'd benefit from these workshops.
Both workshops are limited to just 10 couples. This is to ensure everyone has plenty of space to move comfortably and receive the perfect guidance for them.
The regular concerns people express are exactly why we have created this Viennese Waltz workshop. We do not want anyone to miss out on experiencing this dance.

The BIG Explanation!
We're introducing something NEW that we think you will thoroughly enjoy and will find genuinely helpful. For many years we haven't taught the Viennese Waltz in the Beginner classes as many newcomers find this dance rather daunting.
We understand these concerns and this 60-minute workshop addresses them, making the Viennese Waltz accessible to everyone.
The Viennese Waltz is regarded by some as a niche dance, often because of concerns about its physical demands that are sometimes more perception than reality based. In the past, when we have taught this dance in the weekly Improvers classes, between one third and two thirds of the usual attendees choose not to participate because of these concerns. Students often feel the dance is captivating but think it will be overwhelming.
It is completely normal to feel this way, especially since most of us have only ever seen the Viennese Waltz performed at dizzying speeds on television! To overcome this, we are introducing the exact format we use in our private lessons; a method that has a 100% success rate, as a group workshop.
This biannual workshop will permanently replace the tuition of Viennese Waltz that was previously offered only in the Improvers classes.
