Join us for a night bursting with colour and good vibes as we celebrate the spirit of the Summer of Love! Whilst the 'fancy dress' element of this event is 100% optional, this is your chance to channel your inner flower child and embrace your most fabulous, free-spirited self!
Whether you’re rocking flared trousers, tie-dye tees, peace necklaces, floaty dresses, headbands or retro sunnies, come as your funkiest, grooviest self, or simply turn up in smart attire and soak in the Festival vibe!

PARKING
Free Parking: The large car park (next to Co-op car park) is FREE and has no time restrictions. Please do not park in the yellow junction box. Street parking is available along Hopeville Avenue too. Please avoid parking in the Co-op car park as it's limited to 45 minutes.
dress code
Please do not wear t-shirts, polos, chinos*, jeans*, shorts or trainers unless theme related to your costume. However, the FESTIVAL theme does mean all of these are acceptable attire tonight.
Gentlemen do not need to wear any form of tie unless they wish to do so. Ladies & gentlemen are welcome to wear smart jumpers or similar if they wish to. This is the dress code for all events held in Broadstairs.
*It doesn’t matter if your jeans or chinos are: Designer, Black, Green, Red, Classic, Tailored, Corded, Straight Leg, Skinny, Tapered, Boot Cut, Flared, Baggy, Bell Bottom, Slim Fit, Stretched, Sand Blasted, Ripped, Frayed or Cuffed… please don’t wear them!

TICKET FEES
Fee: £12 per person (we will select your seating according to the bookings that come in). To specify your seating (ground floor or stage) the fee is £13 per person.
Ticket Booking T&Cs
(a) Please only request tickets if you know you can attend.
(b) Once tickets have been requested, payment is due within 48 hours to secure your place.
(c) Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to any other event or person(s).
(d) Payment within 48 hours is each individual's responsibility. Reminders to pay within the specified 48-hour time period will not be issued.
(e) Some individuals may unfortunately discover their tickets have been sold if they fail to pay within 48 hours*.
(f) No tickets will be issued. Names are added to an attendance list.
(g) We accept payment in person or via bank transfer.**
(h) Please do not make payment until your booking has been confirmed.
*Section (e): exceptions are made for those who contact us to inform us of a reason for delayed payment. A date for payment will then be agreed upon.
**PLEASE let Maggie know when you make a bank transfer and the bank reference you have given. She will then confirm receipt of funds with you.

American Supper: Participants are invited to bring their own food and drink (alcohol allowed) as neither of these are sold on the night.
Our Music: Our music is mostly strict tempo but some tunes may be a little slower or faster to make some dances more manageable or a bit more fun and exciting.
Safety: Please do not chew gum at our events. Please do not add French chalk or talcum powder to your dance shoes. This is dangerous to other students, invalidates our public liability, & goes against our 'terms of use' contract with the venue. We continue to keep some doors &/or windows open to promote the ventilation of fresh air. Please dress accordingly.
