workshop format
In regular classes, we focus on building your ability to progress around your dance floor confidently. During the class, the specific patterns we teach you are designed sequentially to enable you to fully focus on your partner and the steps you’re learning, eliminating any worries or distractions about potential obstacles you must navigate.
These three upcoming sessions are purposefully designed to propel your Latin skills to the next level encouraging & empowering you to lead and follow effectively. During both sessions, Steven will teach and emphasise the importance of not only leading but also listening to your partner's interpretation of your movements and ideas. Through an enjoyable process of trial and error, the followers will learn how to feel their leaders guidance more effectively.
These sessions ultimately enhance your Latin skills, improving your leading and following abilities.

WORKSHOP ONE & TWO
Perfect for Beginners and those who may have only covered the Rumba a couple of times in class. We will go through some of the easier and more basic steps of the Rumba. There will be plenty of repetition and as you practise, we will be on hand to guide and support you.
WORKSHOP THREE
Ideal for those seeking to increase their understanding of the Rumba. We'll focus on teaching how to lead and follow groups of steps and figures. This session is suitable for Improvers or confident Beginners ready to take their Rumba skills to the next level.
everyone is welcome
Couples and individuals are welcome to attend. Due to the style of this workshop, if you are a solo student we will try our best to find you a partner (we have had solo students buddy up for our previous workshops).
These workshops are capped to only 10 couples to maintain a safe and pleasant learning environment for everyone. This is why on occasion we offer the same dance workshop back to back.
