More About The Music
You will be dancing to the giants of the era: Fabulous musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Cole Porter, Patsy Cline, Benny Goodman, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, & Ray Charles to name a few.
What to Expect
Step back in time & let the magic of the early-to-mid 20th century sweep you across the floor! An evening filled with Ballroom, Latin, Sequence & Line Dancing. Whether you’ve been dancing for years or are just starting out, this evening is purely about enjoyment.
Our events are never performance-focused. We offer a chance to enjoy your dancing without pressure or expectations. There is plenty of space to dance properly in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
We’d love to see some of you in period clothes to match the music, but dressing smart is perfect too! While our events are friendly & inclusive, we take pride in honoring traditional dance etiquette. To maintain this special atmosphere, we ask for a touch of elegance. For this reason, we do not permit jeans, t-shirts, shorts or trainers (yes, really!). Ties are optional; smart jumpers or cardigans are welcome.
