Tier 3 Additional Rule: You must enter and leave the building wearing a mask (unless exempt) and may only take it off for the duration of your lesson.
1. You must not attend the lesson if you, or anyone in your household, has COVID-19 symptoms.
2. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms within 7 days of visiting any of our venues, you must alert Test, Track & Trace & myself.
3. Payment for your lesson must be completed via bank transfer before attending your lesson. If you need to pay with cash, please bring lesson payment in an envelope, notes only, no coins.
4. Do NOT gather around the entrance of the venue. If necessary, you will receive a text when it is safe to enter. Steven will open all doors for you to enter the building; do not touch the door handles for any reason.
5. Masks are optional during tuition. Whilst the government health advisors recommend you do not wear a mask during exercise, you may wear a mask if you wish. We will not ask any student to wear a mask. All teachers of dance no longer need to wear a mask. However, if you wish for Steven to do so, please ask him to put one on & he will immediately.
6. No tables will be in use. 5 chairs will be available. Limit your belongings, the only place to store them is on the floor. If you do not want to leave them on the floor, either do not bring anything you cannot keep in your pockets, or bring a carrier bag of some sort that you’re happy to take home after your class. Do not touch any switches.
7. Your temperature will be taken before tuition commences with a non-contact laser thermometer. All students must comply with this or you will not be able to attend.
8. Use the hand sanitiser provided on entering & leaving the premises, or your own. If you can do so with your own before entering, this would be greatly appreciated.
9. Bring your own drinks. Do not enter the kitchen for any reason.
10. Maintain 2 metres social distancing where possible & no less than 1 metre.
11. Take turns to use confined spaces such as corridors & toilet areas. Please try to avoid unless necessary. Please arrive to your lesson in the correct clothing. Do not use the toilet as a dressing or makeup room.
12. Keep the hall well ventilated. Please do not close doors or windows if they are open. Bring extra clothing if you think you may get cold.
13. “Catch it, Bin it, Kill it”. Tissues should be disposed of, either into your own bag or one of the rubbish bags provided. Then sanitise your hands. Please take your own rubbish home.
14. Avoid touching your face, nose, or eyes. Sanitise your hands if you do so.
15. If you have any safety concerns, please inform Steven immediately.
16. Track and Trace: Whilst we have most of our student contact details due to various communications, all students attending any form of tuition will be required to fill out a track and trace form in advance that WILL NOT be used for marketing and will be GDPR compliant.
17. Failure to comply with any of these procedures will result in the lesson being cancelled for YOU. You will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. You will still be charged for the lesson.
Course Attendance Cancellation Policy: For a full refund we require 48 hours’ notice before the first week of the course. Should an attendee who is paying cash on the night fail to give us 48 hours’ notice, full payment is still required. This policy has been put in place to inspire students to remember to let us know if they cannot attend a course. In turn, it gives students on the waiting list the opportunity to attend. Just like our private lesson cancellation policy, to cancel a course, telephone Maggie on 07759311697. Please do not cancel course bookings via text message, Facebook, email or via friends.
Please ask if you wish to see a copy of our risk assessment.
